Where a register quietly goes wrong
Attendance looks like the simplest thing in the app and is where the quietest mistakes live — because a wrong total still adds up.
Tardy is attendance
A learner who arrived late was in class. SF2 counts her present and tallies the lateness in its own column, so tardiness never quietly becomes an absence — and never disappears either.
An unmarked day is not a present day
A date nobody encoded is not evidence that anyone attended. It is kept distinct from present and reported as unrecorded, because the adviser signs SF2 as a true record and a blank silently read as attendance is what makes that signature untrue.
Non-class days carry their reason
A weekend, a holiday and a class suspension are all not-a-class-day, and they are not the same thing when a division asks why the month is short. Each is recorded with its reason rather than left out.
The totals are computed, not retyped
Per learner, then per sex, then combined — with average daily attendance and the rate against enrolment. The figures come from the marks, so the register and the summary cannot disagree.

The layout is not in DO 015
DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026 governs assessment and grading. It refers to SF2 — it does not prescribe its printed layout, which comes from a separate school-forms issuance.

The 5-day flag is practice, not an order
5 consecutive absences raises a flag because SF2 has historically worked that way. That figure is not from a current issuance and has not been verified against one, and the app says so wherever it shows it.
Then the month is worth something
The register is not the point. What it feeds is.

The monthly movement report reads the same attendance, so enrolment and transfers reconcile with the register instead of being tallied twice.
Learners at risk
DO 015 s. 2026 asks teachers to intervene by the end of Term 1 or at around 12 absences. The list is built from the marks you have already made, and every name shows the figure that put it there.
Honest about gaps
A class whose register is half unencoded produces a short at-risk list, and a short list looks like a healthy class. Unrecorded days are counted and said out loud rather than rounded away.
Every class you handle
A high-school teacher with six sections marks six registers and gets six forms. Classes are not metered.
